“The Last Chief”  – Quanah Parker – Oil Painting

This  Quanah Parker Oil Painting  is an original artwork called “The Last Chief” from Rudolph Kasper, the work is conveys a sense of freedom and reflection.

This oil painting is on a hand stretched premium gallery canvas.  The artwork features incredible details, thick impasto colors and amazing movement.

Quanah Parker (Comanche kwana, “smell, odor”) (c. 1845 – February 20, 1911) was a war leader of the Kwahadi (“Antelope”) band of the Comanche Nation.

One of the things I love about my trade as a painter is the ability to add an extra dimension to my art by using bold thick impasto knife techniques.  This gives the lion oil painting on canvas an added depth and really enhances the feeling of power and movement.
