Star Trek lives on as we continue to go where no one has gone before.

We can almost hear that iconic theme song playing at the mere mention of this classic science-fiction phenomenon.

Live Long and Prosper is part of the Vulcan salute—the Vulcan character Mr.Spock from the original Star Trek series as portrayed by Leonard Nimoy. You have to love the logical Mr. Spock from Star Trek- one of my all-time sci-fi characters.

This oil painting, “Live Long and Prosper,” conveys Spock’s serious nature with his computer-like mind of endless possibilities, a hallmark of the Vulcan race. The green tinge to the painting signifies his culture and green-bloodedness.
