Lady Liberty is the sign of our times. The lone lady standing up to oppression with suffocating pressure of the world around us. We have all been there, in these times of unrest when at times we just can’t breath. Lady Liberty symbolises the resistance to oppression in the sight of overwhelming odds.
One of the things I love about being a painter is the ability to add an extra dimension to my art by using bold thick paint. This gives the artwork an added depth and really enhances the feeling of power and movement.
